We would love to give everyone who participated in this year’s candy buy back a HUGE thank you!!We collected over 200 pounds of candy and you all wrote over 50 cards to the troops. We had a number of US service members who thanked us for the event and let us know that some of their most wonderful days overseas were those days after Halloween when the snacks and the letters came from the kids.This was a wonderful chance to teach the children of the community a good lesson about nutrition and moderation along with doing a special action for those who serve our country.
